Instructions for Apple iOS

VPN client can be downloaded from App store for mobile devices running iOS (iPhone, iPad, etc.).
Search for "Openvpn connect” phrase. This is the name of the client. Click "GET\Install" button:


After application installing, launch it. While there are no configuration files, OpenVPN client offers various ways to get it. The easiest way is to download the configuration file from billing to any computer and send it to the email address of your device. The mailbox shall be added to the device in Mail program:


The email can be sent to your own address, it will appear in the incoming on your device:


Open the message and click on the configuration file in the attachment:


The mail program will request in which application you want to open the file. Select OpenVPN:


The OpenVPN application will start and tell you that a new profile has been detected. Click on the green button with the "+" to add it:


iOS Security system will prompt you for permission to OpenVPN to create a VPN connection. Allowed - Yes:


You can try to connect to the server, but, most likely, the application will reset connection attempts. If this is the case, then close the application and go to the "Settings" of your device (stylized gear). The settings are divided into several sections. We need the lowest section, which lists the applications installed on the device. Find "OpenVPN” in it:


Application settings will open. Go to the "Advanced settings" section and activate the "Force AES-CBC ciphersuites" setting:


Now you can close the settings, restart OpenVPN and shift the button to the "Connected" position. In a few seconds the connection will be made and the "VPN" icon will appear on the status line:

Please note that in Opera MINI (if you use this browser) you use the built-in proxy-server. If you open the IP definition service through opera, you will see an address that does not belong to you, but Opera software.

Note that according to the Apple policy, applications such as Push notifications, FaceTime, etc. never send traffic through a VPN connection.
